A 17-year-old boy was assaulted by two teenagers in Abingdon yesterday.
At about 1pm the boy was sitting on a bench at the junction of Bath Street and Letcombe Avenue with a friend.
Two teenagers on bikes accompanied by a girl approached them.
The two teenagers punched the boy in the head several times.
He sustained a broken nose and swelling to his face and was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment.

He has since been discharged.
The first offender is white, about 14 or 15 years old, 5ft 5ins tall, slim, with light shaved hair. He was wearing a black cap with a yellow border around the peak, a plain black hooded top, blue jeans and trainers and was riding a black mountain bike.
The second offender is white, about 14 or 15 years old, 5ft 8ins tall, slim, with short hair. He was wearing a white and blue zipped jacket, dark blue jeans and trainers and was also riding a black mountain bike.
The girl the teenagers were with is white, aged 14 or 15 years old, about 5ft 4ins, slim, with brown hair. She was wearing a pink and grey jacket, black leggings and Ugg boots.
