Police have arrested two men in connection with the shooting of Kerry Reeves in Abingdon.

Miss Reeves, 26, was shot in the head last Tuesday at a house in Thornhill Walk, Abingdon, and died on Thursday.

Police launched a hunt for the suspected killer and on Saturday raided a house in Welford Gardens and continued their search around the town for a murder weapon.

Today Thames Valley Police said officers have arrested two men on suspicion of the murder of Kerry Reeves in Abingdon.

One man, aged 20, from Corby, Northamptonshire, was arrested last night on suspicion of murder.

Another man, aged 20, from Ealing, London, was previously arrested in connection with the murder on Wednesday, and then re-arrested on suspicion of murder following Miss Reeves' death, before being bailed.

Thames Valley Police said he was re-arrested this morning on suspicion of murder for a second time for "investigative reasons".

Both men are currently in police custody.

Thames Valley Police added that a post mortem examination was carried out yesterday and the preliminary cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head.
