Investigating officer Det Con Tania Wasilewski-Norman of the child investigation unit said: "I would like to thank the victims and their families for their bravery in what has been an extremely harrowing experience for them.

"I would like to also thank our partners particularly in child social care at Oxfordshire County Council for supporting us and the victims through this terrible ordeal.

"In addition I would like to thank our colleagues at the Crown Prosecution Service for helping us achieve this conviction."

The officer also called on anyone who think they have been a victim of a sexual offence to report it to police.
