POLICE shut the northbound A34 slip road from Abingdon's Marcham Interchange yesterday afternoon.
The busy slip road was closed due to a fuel spillage, with rush hour commuters unable to access the road from the roundabout.
Details of what caused the spillage is not yet known, but both lanes were closed.
According to Highways England, it reopened about 10,30pm.
This was updated from the authority's earlier predictions of 6.45pm-7pm, and 8.30pm and 8.45pm.
