TRAFFIC queuing for eight miles on the A34 has now cleared, following a crash near Abingdon.

The crash happened this morning close to the Marcham Interchange, and caused tailbacks stretching from Drayton to the Hinksey Interchange.

Northbound traffic was worst-affected but the southbound carriageway was also congested between Marcham and Drayton.

Congestion started to clear at 10am. 

South Central Ambulance Service was not called out to the crash.
