PANDORA jewellery shop was raided by burglars who broke in through the back door.

Three men stole a stash of jewellery from the Abingdon branch at about 10pm on Thursday.

Police today released descriptions of the burglars, who fled the Bury Street shop on foot towards James Court.

Two wore jackets with hoods up, and scarves around their faces.

The third wore a bright blue jacket with a light-coloured scarf.

Officers said the burglars were also carrying a blue laundry-style bag.

Detective Sergeant Jon Shaw, based at Abingdon Investigation Hub said: “I would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened or who saw any suspicious activity in the area at around the time of the incident."

Police did not state how much jewellery was stolen or how much it was worth.

It is thought the burglars gained access through the back door, which opens out to a car park behind the shop.
