A PERSISTENT pothole has proved such a nuisance in Abingdon that a taxi driver has awarded it its own Twitter hashtag.
Colin Dobson, a taxi driver who works the town's rank, has been tweeting updates about the #OckStreetHole for several weeks.
The leaking crater was patched up by Thames Water last week, but Mr Dobson said the repaired surface quickly disintegrated and the hole now been coned off.
He told the water company it was an 'absolute disgrace'.

Writing in his weekly column in the Herald series, he brands the repair 'astonishingly' poor.
Thames Water workers were due to return to Ock Street - one of the town's busiest roads - by the end of the day tomorrow.
