Man fighting for life after falling in Thames

A MAN has been airlifted to Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital with life threatening injuries after falling into the Thames in Abingdon.
The ambulance service was called to the scene by Abingdon Bridge at about 2.35pm and police also attended.
A game at Abingdon Vale Cricket Club was stopped while two helicopters landed on the pitch.
