School lead theft charge

ABINGDON: A man has been charged after lead was stolen from a school roof on Monday.

Mark Hendron, 25, from Leigh Road, Swindon, is alleged to have taken the metal from the roof of Carswell Community Primary School in Bostock Road shortly before 3am.

A 19-year-old man from Swindon has also been arrested in connection with the theft and was released on bail to return until Monday, July 2.

Hendron was released on bail and will appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, July 17.

In my country, scum like this would be birched, and they AND their entire family would lose entitlement to benefits, the culprit forever, and the family for a warning period of time.

The recent criminal bunch from Romania (metal thefts) - or Albania, much of a muchness - would also be tattooed on the forehead before being deported.
