A HEADTEACHER has paid tribute to a teenager who died after falling from a multi-story car park in Banbury.

Thomas Boomer, 14, fell from the Bolton Road car park at about 1am on Monday but died of his injuries at Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital in the afternoon.

Simon Duffy, headteacher at Chipping Norton School, said: “Tom was a polite, smart and talented student. “Despite the fact that he joined Chipping Norton School relatively recently, he was making his mark with both students and staff.

“He enjoyed music, was passionate about rugby and had a good future ahead of him. “Our whole school community is shocked and saddened by the news and our thoughts are with his family.”
