FRIENDS and family held a fundraiser for murdered teenager Connor Tremble, right, last night.

The event at the Wheatsheaf Pub in Banbury raised money for the charity UK Brain Bank for Autism.

Kidlington teenager and friend Marley Ward performed a rap song in memory of the 17-year-old, who died after he was stabbed at his home in Fairacres Road, Oxford, in February.

Mr Ward recorded the rap, which has more than 12,000 views on YouTube, shortly after Connor’s death.

Another friend, Lucy-Anne Cage, helped to organise last night’s event in memory of Connor.

She said: “It was just to keep Connor’s memory alive and out there and to raise money for the Brain Bank for Autism.

“Connor suffered with autism and it’s a charity close to Connor’s family and friends.”

Will Blencowe, 21, from Banbury, was found guilty of Connor’s murder in August and was given a life sentence.
