A TEENAGER was beaten in Banbury for his phone and bag in an attempted robbery.
The 18-year-old was walking through Hardwick Park, near Hardwick Community Centre, on Monday at about 2.15pm.
Three men approached him and he was punched in the face and kicked on the ground before escaping.
Police said the attackers were all white and aged about 16. Two of them were 5ft 8ins and one was wearing a black peaked baseball cap with the words ‘New York New York’ on it and a light blue zip-up tracksuit top and grey tracksuit bottoms.
