POLICE are still investigating the unexplained death of a man.

Officers said they were called to an area of grassland off Hennef Way at around 1.20pm on Thursday and a man, thought to be in his 40s, was declared dead at the scene.

Thames Valley Police spokesman James Williams said the man’s next of kin have been informed but formal identification and a postmortem examination are yet to take place.

Mr Williams said the man’s death was being treated as unexplained but not thought to be suspicious and no arrests have been made.
