THERE was no mistaking the top achiever at Banbury Academy this year, who arrived in full fancy dress.

Christopher Macey, 18, from Bodicote, scooped three A* grades in chemistry, maths and further maths. He plans to study maths and statistics at Warwick University.

Arriving in an Indian robe, he said: “I said if I got into my first choice I would wear it on results day. I’m feeling very happy.”
