THE M40 slip road into Banbury has been closed after a crash between a cyclist and a lorry.
Police said the sliproad out of Banbury on Junction 11 is also very busy following the incident in Hennef Way.
Motorists have been advised to use junctions 10 or 12 while the road is cleared.
The collision occurred shortly before 12.45pm at the roundabout near Ermont Way and Wildmere Road.
Police spokeswoman Connie Primmer said officers were at the scene with paramedics, who were treating a person for serious injuries.
She was unable to say whether it was the cyclist who was injured and South Central Ambulance service could not give any further information at this time.
