Nicholas Baker, 30, of Isis Avenue, Bicester, admitted assaulting a man by beating him in Bicester on July 5. Ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months and to pay £100 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge.

Jack Barrett, 35, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted stealing two Fred Perry jackets worth £110 from Debenhams in Castle Quay, Banbury, on September 26 and possessing cannabis, a class B drug, in Concord Avenue, Banbury, on the same date. Also admitted failing to surrender to custody at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on October 16. Ordered to take part in rehabilitation activity for a maximum of 10 days and to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and a £180 criminal courts charge.

Ben Chesterman, 29, of Castle Street, Banbury, admitted drink-driving in Springfield Avenue, Banbury, on November 8. Had 66 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £320 and ordered to pay a £32 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge. Banned from driving and holding a licence for 18 months.

Lukasz Dudek, 26, of Collinwood Road, Headington, admitted drink-driving in Witan Way, Witney, on November 8. Had 81 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £340 and ordered to pay a £34 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge. Banned from driving and holding a licence for 18 months.

Alistair Tuffin, 44, of Middleton Road, Bucknell, admitted drink-driving and failing to stop a car when required by police in Bainton Road, Bainton, on November 6. Had 87 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £600 and ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge. Banned from driving and holding a licence for 20 months.

Vincent Webb, 52, of Caernarvon Way, Banbury, admitted drink-driving in Stratford Road, Wroxton, on September 13. Had 131 milligrams of alcohol in 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80 milligrams. Fined £120 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge. Banned from driving and holding a licence for 15 months.

Daniel Clarke, 19, of The Green, Lower End, Alvescot, admitted damaging a Ford Focus to the value of £489.77 in Witney between August 3 and August 4. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £250 compensation, a £15 victims’ surcharge and a £150 criminal courts charge.

David Whitlock, 32, of Centre Rise, Horspath, admitted breaching a non-molestation order by sending Victoria Price eight social media messages on November 11. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and a £180 criminal courts charge.

Stuart Greener, 40, of Station Road, Launton, Bicester, admitted assaulting Martha Loveridge in Bicester on November 1. Given a community order requiring six months of alcohol dependency treatment and ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge. Restraining order made against Martha Loveridge until November 29, 2017.

Adrian Fannon, 37, of Evenlode, Banbury, admitted stealing £10 worth of food from Morrisons in Banbury on October 12. Sent to prison for 28 days because of an “appalling record” and persistent offending, and ordered to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge and a £150 criminal courts charge.

Trevor Grant, 37, of Appleby Close, Banbury, admitted stealing £45 worth of clothing from British Home Stores in Banbury in March and April, £116 worth of perfume from Debenhams in Banbury on June 20 and £50 worth of DVDs from the Co-op in Banbury on June 25. Also admitted failing to answer bail at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on November 6. Given a 42-day prison sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to take drug rehabilitation treatment for six months. Also ordered to pay £141 compensation, a £80 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge.

Justin Barnes, 30, of Barford Road, Bloxham, admitted failing to do unpaid work in November as ordered by Banbury magistrates. Fined £50 and ordered to pay a £100 criminal courts charge.

Chevon Brown, 20, of Bletchingdon, convicted of speeding at 53mph in a 30mph zone and driving without insurance in Banbury Road, Kidlington, on August 28. Fined £415 with a £25 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving or holding a licence for six months.

Max Goodey, 20, of Lambrick Way, Abingdon, admitted speeding at 43mph in a 30mph zone in Steventon Road, Drayton, on October 13. Fined £80 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving or holding a licence for six months.

Lee Oliver, 39, of Dover Avenue, Banbury, admitted speeding in a 30mph zone in Main Road, Broughton, on January 6. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with three points.

Peter Bromley, 53, of Whittington Place, Carterton, admitted three speeding offences all committed on October 21, 2014, driving at 35mph and again at 38mph in a 30mph zone in Abingdon Road, Steventon, and at 36mph in a 30mph zone in Station Road, Didcot. Fined £300 with £85 costs and licence endorsed with three points.
