Adil Bahar, 21, of Grimsbury Drive, Banbury, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Banbury on August 19. Fined £70 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

John Day, 48, of Hardwick Road, Hethe, near Bicester, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or cause alarm or distress in Bicester on December 5. Fined £50 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge, £30 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge.

Daniel Cieslak, 28, of Centre Street, Banbury, admitted drink-driving in Howard Road, Banbury, on December 5. Had 69 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath over the 35mcg legal limit. Aaron Joines, 28, of Rochester Way, Adderbury, admitted stealing six bottles of Gaviscon, worth £23, from Tesco Express in Banbury High Street on November 6. Given an eight-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and a £150 criminal courts charge.

Chantelle Austin, 24, of Market End Way, Bicester, admitted failing to attend a police assessment on November 18 to establish whether she was dependent on heroin, a Class A drug. Also admitted failing without reasonable excuse to answer bail at Banbury Magistrates’ Court, having been released on bail from Banbury Police Station on December 18. Carl Hatch, 39, of Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, and Temazepam, a Class C, in Oxford City Centre on October 23. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and a £180 criminal courts charge.

Lukasz Owczarek, 32, of Prescott Avenue, Banbury, admitted assaulting Klaudia Kokot by beating her in Banbury on October 26. Given a community order requiring 120 hours of unpaid work and rehabilitation treatment. Also ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Carlose Jameson, 24, of Ashurst Way, Rose Hill, Oxford, admitted stealing £174.95 worth of Lego from Toys R Us in Botley Road, Oxford, on December 6.
