A gang of teenage yobs is being hunted by police after 22 vehicles were damaged in a Banbury crime spree.
Police said the vehicles were vandalised between 5pm on Saturday and 6am on Sunday in the Ruscote and Hardwick areas of the town.
The group of between six and 10 teens aged about 14 were wearing dark clothing and two of them were riding bikes.
They smashed car windows, slashed tyres, broke wing mirrors and scratched the vehicles with keys.
The cars targetted were in Woodfield, Rye Close, Hereford Way, Banesberie Close, Forgeway, Humber Walk, Riley Drive, Ironstones, Frensham Close, Chichester Walk, Chetwode, Bath Road, Ferriston, Bettina Crescent and Highlands.
The force said there have been other isolated incidents of damage being caused to vehicles which officers believe are connected to the most recent spree.
PC Neil Budd said: "I would ask anyone who has any information regarding this incident to call the police non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 913."
