AN ENSEMBLE of talented musicians will entertain crowds at a fundraiser next month to raise vital cash for two Banbury churches.
On Friday, March 4, the John Cleveland Band will play everything from big band classics to Abba and West End numbers in aid of St Mary’s and St Francis Churches.
The band was founded in 1976 at a college in Leicestershire and has gone on to perform for charitable causes up and down the county.
All funds raised from the event, which runs from 7.30pm at St Mary's, will go towards the churches' work in the community over the coming year.
It last appeared in Banbury in September 2016 at a well-received fundraising concert in Tudor Hall.
Tickets for the event cost £10 and a bar will be available on the night. Seats are not allocated.
