TO MARK the centenary of some women getting the vote, and 90 years since men and women over 21 were granted suffrage, Victoria Prentis MP is inviting everyone in North Oxfordshire for a cuppa.
It is part of a national EqualiTeas campaign to share, debate and celebrate what equality means over a cup of tea.
The Banbury MP has called on everyone to meet with friends and family to stage an event between June 18 and July 2.
She said: “These anniversaries are an incredibly important opportunity for us to reflect on how far we have come.
“EqualiTeas is an opportunity to reach out to others and share ideas for more equality.”
