Car catches fire

Concord Avenue in Banbury was closed after a Vauxhall Astra caught fire yesterday.

Firefighters were called at 7.30am and the road was shut until a recovery vehicle arrived, because it was feared fuel was leaking after the fire was put out.

The road re-opened at about 9am.
