3:20pm Saturday 30th June 2012 in Banbury
A £934,000 contract to support survey work for the planned HS2 high-speed rail route through Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire has been awarded to infrastructure and business services group Mouchel.
The firm will arrange access to land for ecological, environmental and engineering surveys and prepare a list of all owners and occupiers of land affected by the scheme.
The proposed route will cut across north-east Oxfordshire between Finmere and Mixbury and pass close to several villages to the east and north-east of Banbury.
