The Government’s second examination of Cherwell District Council’s draft Local Plan resumed at Bodicote House in Banbury yesterday.
The draft Local Plan contains provision for building 22,800 homes by 2031 to hit government targets. It earmarks 234.5 hectares of land for employment.
In June, inspector Nigel Payne halted the first examination into the plan to allow the council to amend it in line with revised Government housing targets.
The hearing is due to last two weeks.
