A CHERWELL District Council sale on extra recycling bins ends today (Tuesday).
The council is offering extra blue recycling and brown food and garden waste bins for £10 each, compared to the usual price of £18.
More than 500 bins – 240 or 140 litres – have been sold since the sale began on November 25.
To order in time for Christmas visit Banbury’s Thorpe Lane Depot from 9am to 5pm today (Tuesday, December 23).
Bins can also be ordered online at cherwell.gov.uk/binordering or by ringing 01295 227003.
The council said the bins cost it £19.75 but it gets cash by providing materials for recycling and cutting landfill costs.
