TWO-year-old India Nye refused to let this tumble put her off in her first go at ice-skating.

The Kidlington youngster is seen being helped by her dad Paul at the Bicester Avenue garden centre in Bicester.

Mr Nye, a 40-year-old carpenter, said: “It was her very first time on the ice, and she loved it.

“She wasn’t too bad, she went all the way round once unaided, but I had to help her out a lot.”

Local and community events manager at Bicester Avenue Jade Merivale said: “This is the first year we have had an ice rink at Bicester Avenue and it has been very popular. We have sold out a lot of sessions.

“There has been lots of excitement and fun for families and lots of laughter.”

Children could be seen pushing penguins as families spun round the ice for the 45-minute sessions.

The ice rink will be open until Sunday.
