FUNNY bones and fearsome pirates took over a school playground to enjoy the sunshine.
Children from Jack and Jill Pre-School in Bicester dressed up in fancy dress after a supermarket donated the outfits.
The youngsters played out as skeletons and pirates as they enjoyed the sunshine in their school yard on Monday.
Pre-school manager Bekki Barker said: “We would like to say a big thank you to Sainsbury’s for donating the outfits.
“The children really enjoyed dressing up and will get a lot of use out of them.”
Four-year-old Emily Heriman said: “The outfits felt nice, comfy and scary.”
Sainsbury’s store media officer Claire Few said the store donated the costumes because the store thought it would be nice to give something to the school.
She added: “Part of my job is looking around the store and seeing what stuff the schools.
“I noticed when I was donated Red Nose Day fancy dress that their fancy dress rack was empty, so thought it would be nice to donate some for them to use.”
