ACTRESS, Bond Girl and fashionista Gemma Arterton visited Bicester Village to launch an event among photographers and fashion designers yesterday.

The 29-year-old was at the outlet shopping centre to take on a fashion ambassador role, launching a six-week pop-up boutique to support up-and-coming designers.

The British Designers’ Collective has been held at the designer shopping centre in Pingle Drive for the past five years and this year it coincides with the outlet’s 20th anniversary.

Past years have seen singer Rita Ora, TV personality and model Alexa Chung and actress Thandie Newton take on the role of event ambassador.

The event, a partnership between Bicester Village and the British Fashion Council, will see young British talent sell their collections and oneoff pieces.

Designers involved in this year’s event include Mary Katrantzou, Sophia Webster, Peter Pilotto, Roksanda, House of Holland, Eudon Choi and Thomas Tait.
