Bicester man gets store ban
A 40-year-old man has been banned from every WH Smith in Oxfordshire after he was charged with stealing £200 worth of Lego.
Simon Moore, of George Street, Bicester, was charged on Wednesday with stealing £199.62 worth of Lego figures from WH Smith in the town on May 20, and more again on Monday, police said yesterday.
He appeared at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday and was released on bail with the condition he does not enter any WH Smith store in Oxfordshire. He is due to appear again on Wednesday, August 26.
