Emergency services called to glider crash at Bicester Airfield
A GLIDER crashed at Bicester Airfield this afternoon, according to Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service.
The fire service were called to reports of an glider aircraft crash at 12.30pm today after what was thought to be a "heavy landing".
It said the male pilot was helped from the aircraft by ambulance crews.
No update on the man's condition has been given.
Fire crews from Bicester and a specialist rescue team from Kidlington were sent and they helped check the area over after the crash.
