POLICE are hunting for burglars who stole cars in Bicester.

The three burglaries took place over the weekend. The first happened between 7.30pm on Saturday, October 25, and 7am on Sunday, October 26.

The thieves entered a Banbury Road property and stole keys for a red VW Golf GTD. The car was taken and later found in Northamptonshire.

In a second incident, between 1am and 7.30am on Sunday, burglars entered a property in Larkspur Square and stole a wallet, HP Laptop, Jewellery, ID cards a holdall and keys to a blue Mercedes Benz A Class.

The car was stolen but later found in Northamptonshire.

Thames Valley Police said that between 6pm and 8pm on Sunday, burlglars also entered a property in The Village Close, Upper Arncott, and took a wallet and keys to a white VW Golf.

The car has been stolen and has not yet been found.

Det Con Ian Bailey, of Banbury police station, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have heard or seen suspicious behaviour in the areas at these times to get in contact via the Thames Valley Police 24-hour enquiry line 101.

“It is also a reminder to people to make sure keys and valuables are kept safe in the property and to remember to lock doors and windows.”
