A SUSPECTED arsonist who destroyed a special school shed full of toys has been 'identified' police said this morning.

Thames Valley Police Bicester force tweeted they had nailed down a suspect in the Bardwell School case and also that the investigation was going well.

But, as far as is known, the force has not arrested the suspect or released any more information about them.

The attacker hit Bardwell School in Bicester on Sunday night about 11pm.

They set fire to a shed in the playground containing toys, burning it to the ground.

In the few days since, parents and wellwishers have raised more than £4,000 to replace the play equipment.

Head teacher John Riches thanked everyone for the support and said he was blown away by the response.
