A SHOP in Bicester was evacuated by fire crews due to concerns about a possible blaze.
Bicester Fire Station said its firefighters were sent to the incident with others from Oxford and Buckingham.
They closed the shop in Pioneer Square, Sheep Street, for about 45 minutes after being called at 11.25am.
A spokesman for the station wrote on Facebook: "Although crews prepared for a possible fire in the building, it was able to be handed back to the store management approximately 3/4 hours later for contractors to carry out work.
"Store staff safely evacuated all shoppers and staff, and the area has returned to normal."
