RESIDENTS in parts of Bicester spent the entire night and much of the morning without electricity after major power cut.
The power cut was first reported at about 11.30pm last night and some homes were without power until 10am.
A spokesman for energy company SSEN confirmed 1,800 customers in total were affected, but had been restored to all but 23 customers by 8am this morning.
He added: "We have been switching the network and delivering mobile generators throughout the night."
SSEN tweeted just after 11am stating all supplies had been restored.
It has thanked customers for their patience and apologised for inconvenience.
