Motorcyclist suffered minor injuries

A teenage motorcyclist hurt in a crash with a car last night outside Oxford needed treatement for leg injuries, paramedics said today.

The collision happened on the B4027 between Beckley and Islip at 6.30pm.

A spokesman for South Central Ambulance said the 18-year-old male motorcyclist was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford for treatment but his condition was not life-threatening.

The 33-year-old male driver was also taken to hospital after suffering facial injuries.
