The annual Easter funfair held in Harpenden has been cancelled due to snowy conditions.
Harpenden Town Council has made the decision to cancel the funfair, which was due to take place between Friday, April 5 and Tuesday, April 9 because of the weather.
John Bagshaw, the council clerk said: "The Common is currently covered with snow and it is really cold out, so for safety issues we have unfortunately made the decision to call off the Easter funfair."
