Traffic was moving freely around Foxhall Bridge yesterday after temporary traffic lights near the bridge were removed.

National Grid put up the lights on Monday so staff could complete work on the A4130 roundabout near the bridge, linked with the electrification of the railway line by Network Rail. But it removed the lights later that day following a request from the county council as drivers experienced major tailbacks.

Work at the bridge is set to continue until the New Year but will take place at night.
