Smoke from industrial site blaze could come into South Oxfordshire, police warn
SMOKE from a fire in Hermitage, Berkshire, could come as far as South Oxfordshire, police have said.
Thames Valley Police in West Berkshire said that people should keep their doors and windows shut in case the smoke spreads.
The large fire, in the Red Shute Hill Industrial Estate, is being dealt with by police and Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service after reports of several explosions.
