Six people from Oxfordshire are in custody after being arrested during police raids to crack down on drugs.

Two more Didcot men, 51 and 38, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs

A 32-year-old man from Didcot was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply controlled drugs.

A man from Oxford, 44, was arrested on suspicion of being involved in the supply of Class A drugs.

A Didcot woman, 46, was arrested on suspicion of money laundering.

All those arrested are in custody.

Supt Rory Freeman said: “More than 100 officers have been involved in today’s operation which has involved carrying out warrants under the Misuse of Drugs Act to target the supply of drugs within communities across the Thames Valley.

“Drugs cause untold misery to those who are affected by them and the organised supply often feeds other areas of criminality.

Thames Valley Police will not tolerate the supply of drugs and every effort will be made to disrupt those who are involved in their supply."
