YOUNG visitors to the Earth Trust centre in Little Wittenham were full of the joys of spring at a drop-in event during the bank holiday weekend.
Children had the chance to meet chickens and pigs and take part in a range of arts and crafts at the centre near Didcot on Sunday.
Lynn Parker and her daughters Evie, four, and Rosie, two, were among the visitors who took advantage of the good weather to get closer to nature.
The Little Wittenham resident said: “It was a really great event and the girls had a lovely time.
“We did not have enough time really, there was lots to do.
“There was vegetable printing, which was painting with vegetables, and the girls made a bee and a butterfly at some of the craft events.
“We are regular visitors to the Earth Trust centre, we go to lots of the forest school events that they do.”
Evie said: “It was a happy day.
“My favourite bit was making the butterfly.”
