THE FAMILY of murdered teenager Jayden Parkinson this afternoon gathered to unveil a bench in her memory in the Didcot churchyard where her body was found.
Mother Samantha Shrewsbury was comforted by friends and family as Reverend Karen Beck, of All Saints Church, read prayers at the small gathering.
The 17-year-old was killed in December 2013 by ex-boyfriend Ben Blakeley, who buried her body in his uncle’s grave at the Didcot churchyard.
Blakeley was sentenced to life in prison, with a minimum term of 20 years, in July last year.
