CREEPY-CRAWLIES in the woods did not stop a Didcot couple celebrating their wedding anniversary in style.
The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds hosted its Big Wild Sleepout at Wytham Woods, inviting families across the county to spend the night in the ancient wooded area.
Mitt Nathwani and his wife Claire decided to celebrate their 13th wedding anniversary by joining the outdoor event with five-year-old son Seanan.
Mr Nathwani, managing director of a software company, said following the sleepout on Saturday and Sunday: “ We just thought this would be something interesting for all of use to do and celebrate as a family.”
Campers got a close look at the wildlife lurking within the Oxford University woods, which residents usually need a permit to explore.
