ADVENTURER Sarah Outen has completed her epic four-year global odyssey after arriving in London this lunchtime.

The Chilton resident has travelled 25,000 miles around the world using her kayak and bicycle, and finished her journey by kayaking underneath Tower Bridge.

During her journey more than £50,000 has been raised for charities including CoppaFeel!, MNDA, WaterAid and the Jubilee Sailing Trust.

After reaching dry land Miss Outen said: “This expedition has pushed and challenged me to my limits and beyond. There have been quite a few moments when I wasn't sure if I would make it out alive.

"But I was determined to see this through to the end and to now be back home is really special.

"I have been humbled and inspired by the places I’ve been and the people I’ve met, which has made for an amazing few years."

The 30-year-old, who cycled through Oxford last week, has claimed to be the first woman to row solo across the Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean.
