A 14-year-old had his scooter stolen while walking down the street in Didcot.

The boy was walking along Wessex Road with his scooter between 4pm and 5pm on Saturday when he was approached by a group of older boys.

One pushed the boy backwards and ran away with the scooter.

The victim was not injured.

The person who took the scooter is described as white, older than 14, and about 5ft 6ins.

He was wearing a black hooded jumper with a white Adidas logo on the front top left, and three white lines down each arm.

The scooter has white handle bars with black handle-grips.

It has a black base and there is a grey skull on the underside.

The wheels are dark grey, and the front wheel is loose.

There is also some black writing on the white section of the handle bar.

Investigating officer, PC Jason Walsh, based at Abingdon police station, said: “We would like to speak to anyone who may have information about this robbery.

“The neighbourhood team have been on patrol in the area to offer reassurance.

“I would urge anyone who saw anything suspicious to contact us via Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101."
