THE outgoing mayor of Thame has announced last year’s fundraising totals for his two chosen charities.
At an annual meeting of the town council on Tuesday, councillor Tom Wyse presented Amy Spicer and John Hulett from the Red Kite Family Centre and Alison Champken-Woods from Thame & District Day Centre with a cheque of £5,874 each, making his fundraising total £11,748 for the year.
Throughout his time in office, the former mayor held various fundraising events in aid of the charities, including a cinema evening, music concert and golf day.
