TWO-year-old Bodhi Hale made the most of summer’s last rays at the Wheatley woodland’s Forest School session.

His mum Marie said: “Bodhi had a great time climbing trees and cooking bread on sticks. He was enjoying all the leaves that are starting to fall off the trees and kicking them around. He loved it.”

The Headington family visit the sessions – run by community group Heart of the Wildwood in the woodland off Littleworth Road – regularly.

Full-time mum Mrs Hale said: “It’s one of the best things we do all week. We go to the school sessions most Mondays because I can take Bodhi and his older brother Lucas, who’s four.”

“They’re great because they run through the school holidays, because most activities stop during summer which is when you need them most.

“They get to run around in a really safe environment but still push their boundaries.”

The group meets on Mondays. For more information call 07582 935427.
