OXFORD United legend Ron Atkinson will appear as a special guest on a new sports show tomorrow evening.

'Big Ron', who holds the record for the most appearances in a U's shirt, with 562 games during 12 years at the club between 1959-71, is interviewed on TV programme, Ballsy Women.

The show, which includes an all female panel, aired for the first time on Sunday, July 17, on Sky Channel 266, with the latest episode hitting the screens at 6pm tomorrow.

Mr Atkinson, 77, will reflect on 25 years of Premier League football and his management career, having been in charge of Manchester United and West Bromwich Albion.

He will be interviewed by Olympic silver medallist and former Badminton player, Gail Emms, for an hour, while he will also pick his all time top flight XI.

Albion's 5-3 victory at Old Trafford in 1978 is on the agenda, as is Leicester City's remarkable Premier League-winning campaign.

Olympic medal-winning heptathlete, Kelly Sotherton, and England Women's football legend, Kelly Smith, also appear on the show's panel.

Atkinson's younger brother, Graham, is a United legend in his own right.

He is the club's all-time top-scorer with 107 goals – a record which has not been broken for 42 years.
