BIKERS will zoom through the streets in convoy to deliver presents to poorly children.

Members of the Oxford Harley Chapter will take part in their annual trip to Oxford Children’s Hospital, which first ran after the death of 15-year-old Jake Spicer in 2009.

The Blackbird Leys teenager died after battling bone cancer – but not before leaving a lasting impression on the bikers, who helped to inspire his passion for the machines and gifted him with the nickname ‘Little Harley’.

For years the chapter has visited the hospital to drop off toys, renaming the event the Jake Spicer Annual Toy Run after his death.

Ian Davis, director of the chapter, will lead around 120 bikers from Abingdon to the Oxford hospital at about 11am on Sunday.

The thundering trail of motorbikes will follow a different route this year, roaring through Abingdon Business Park where the Oxford Harley-Davidson dealership moved last month.
