A DRIVER has been arrested on suspicion of drinking beer while driving on the motorway near Oxford.
Police stopped a van yesterday evening near Junction 8 of the M40 after receiving reports of 'bad driving'.
A half-empty bottle of beer was found by officers.
The driver, who a refused breath test, was charged and remanded in custody.
Police have not yet released the name of the driver.
