WOMEN who have suffered domestic violence contributed to a quilt calling for an end to abuse.
People helped by the Oxford Sexual Abuse and Rape Crisis Centre helped create the embroidery, made up of 35 panels, to mark the group’s 30th birthday.
The quilt, above, is on show at the Jam Factory in Hollybush Row, Oxford, until the end of the month as part of the Artweeks festival.
Service manager Natalie Brook, pictured with volunteer Kate Halls, said: “This quilt highlights the fact that, sadly, violence against women is prevalent in today’s society. It also sends a hopeful message – that change is possible.”
