Pyjamas are okay

An Oxford University college has denied having a policy students should not wear pyjamas to breakfast at the college dining hall.

It was reported that signs entitled ‘hall manners’ had gone up around Brasenose College telling students to end the “slovenly practice” of eating breakfast in their pyjamas.

But a spokesman for the college, in Radcliffe Square, said this was not a formal policy.

Outrageous that in the PC world of today a college will deny forcing decency and good manners onto sloven people.

It would be more outrageous if a college were to stoop to a level of control-freakery whereby there was a dress code for breakfast.

I didn't realise that students got up for breakfast, all the ones around me seem to be eating Kebabs with a Bottle of Bud on my front garden wall on their way home at my breakfast time.
